An Eggs-collent Way to Plan
: Good in the planning, but only not enough results
I think that this activity is for learning the concept of planning process within limited conditions, which are limited time and resources. Overall, even though our team could not reach the good result, which was not breaking egg when we dropped the egg in the class, I had a good experience to have the planning process with other class mates.
I think that we did all process that professor posted on blackboard except ‘step5,” because our assignment did not allow this. Our team members knew the object clearly, and we communicated to reach the goal. We asked each other about ideas to reach the goal. We talked about our idea one by one. Finally, we agreed one design, and we drew the idea on the paper. We made the actual product as our idea. One bad thing was we could not test our idea before we submitted the final project. Even we did not reach the real goal, we have a great time to experience about the planning process. We also had an experience about what kind of problems could be happening during real project in real world. For example, each student could not tell that their idea was the best because they could not test to prove each student’s idea. However, we could conclude one final design that we would build.

Management of my time and money with good friendship

This semester, I have an unexpected problem that is related with money, time, and friendship. I have one friend in Baruch. He was in the Army before he got in this school. Year 2005 summer, he received an order to go to Afghanistan from the Army. This summer, he came back to Afghanistan, and he returned to the school. The problem is I registered 17 credits only on Monday and Wednesday form 8:40 am to 8:50 pm, and I only have a break time between 12:30 to 2:50. Because this is the only free time for me, I want to have an breaking time for my self or I want to read some book or other things, but my friend call me to go out eating lunch at 32nd street every day. Actually, his girl friend is attending a private school over there, and she is also one of my friends. Therefore, he wants to go there to eat lunch for our good friendship. Very beginning of this semester I did it, but it provided several problems. First, I need to spend too much money on lunch. I am not willing spend almost $20 for only lunch. If I just eat my lunch in the school, $5 to $8 will be enough for my lunch. Second problem was I felt too tried because I need to walk to 32nd street and back, and meal usually very heavy. If I eat lunch in the school, I can fininsh my lunch within 30 min, and I can have nap or other things for me. However, I just say that I do not want to go there, but I am not comfortable about it. Still I do not have a solution yet. Shall I concentrate my time and money, or friendship?
